COUNTRY HOUSE IN THE VEXIN - France

In the heart of the Vexin region, this historic manor has undergone an extensive 800 m² restructuring, where RIVAS ARCHITECTURE led a complete reimagining of the spaces, from structural layout to interior curation. The challenge lay in transforming this heritage site for modern family living while honoring its timeless character.

The design is centered on a curated selection of noble materials and exceptional craftsmanship. The warmth of walnut wood harmonizes with the timeless texture of Burgundy stone, while the exquisite work of the decorative painters from Atelier Tourtoulou adds a bespoke layer of artistry to the walls. To complete this vision, Tony and Michael Rivas collaborated with emerging designers, bridging the gap between historical legacy and contemporary creative energy. The result is a project where every detail reflects a rigorous commitment to light, volume, and material excellence.
